Adjusting the General Settings

In the general settings, you can select the color for the user interface, language, regional settings and other personal settings.

How to open the general settings:

Click the Settings icon in the menu bar. Click on All settings.

You can also click on Settings in the App Launcher.

The Settings window opens.
Click on Basic in the left pane.

Depending on the configuration, the following settings are available:

Theme

Accent colors.
- Defines the color for highlighted elements.
Backgrounds.
- Defines the user interface color.

Language and timezone

Language.
- Defines the user interface language.
Customize date and time formats.
- Opens a window for customizing regional settings.
  - Time format
  - Date format
  - Number format
  - First day of the week
  - First week of the year
  The preset regional settings depend on the selected language.
Timezone.
- Defines the time zone to which all time-bound entries refer.

Start app & Quick launch bar

Start with.
- Defines the application that is displayed after login.
Configure quick launch bar.
- Opens a window that enables you to define the apps that should be displayed as quick launch icons in the menu bar. Depending on the configuration, you can set a different number of quick launch icons. You can also open the window from a quick launch icon's context menu.

Keyboard shortcuts

Defines which keyboard shortcuts for frequently used functions are enabled.
